Motel Campsite (by Campsite Collective) is a mobile content creation project driven by storytelling. Operating from within a 1983 Toyota motorhome renovated to be a mobile office / living quarters, Garrett Danz and Bryce Riedesel hit the road, sharing stories from individuals they meet along the way as well as their own story of adventure and minimal living.
1. SHARE STORIES
Since Campsite was founded, it’s been our goal to tell stories about good people doing good things. Rather than waiting for these stories to find us, we’ve decided to take things into our own hands and set out across America to meet these individuals ourselves, documenting their stories and sharing them with you.
2. DOCUMENT THE JOURNEY
Not only are we be telling other individuals’ stories, we are also documenting our own journey along the way. This content includes regular video updates through our dedicated channels and social media networks, as well as extensive photo content centered around travel, adventure and minimal living.
3. PROMOTE POSITIVITY
We believe now more than ever that it is important to amplify the good being done in our country. We aim to promote awareness of good people doing good things for their communities and the world at large by creating compelling content highlighting the stories of these individuals and their causes.
4. CREATIVELY COLLABORATE
Along the way, we’re collaborating with a diverse range of artists. Musicians perform unplugged concerts and discuss their own stories from within Motel Campsite. We’ll also invite fellow photographers and filmmakers along to discuss creative process, ambitions, and their own journeys.
